GoldStar - Involving Local Disability Groups

To help the GoldStar Team develop the training and manual we have talked to a range of disability groups to draw out first hand experience of the barriers that disabled people face when trying to find volunteering opportunities. These groups have also highlighted actions that volunteer-involving organisations could take to remove the barriers and so develop good practice in recruitment and support strategies for disabled volunteers.
