Held on the 24th March, at Bewicks Restaurant in Gateshead Civic Centre, the Ultimate GoldStar Party was an opportunity for volunteers, volunteer-involving organisations and GAP to celebrate, acknowledge and congratulate everyone for the work that had been achieved to mainstream disabled people as volunteers during the three years of our GoldStar project.
Opened by Councillor Napier, the evening´s entertainment was provided by the Orchid Dancing Group, Stevie Wonderful, Maybe Myrtle Tyrtle and the Lawnmowers Krocodile Krew Disco.
A big thank you to all those who not only attended the event but have helped to make the project the success that it has been.
